Prof. Su is currently the director of the Institute of Material Failure and Control, the director of the Key Laboratory of Environmental Fracture of the Ministry of Education, and the deputy director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of Corrosion / Abrasion and Surface Technology.

2005 New Century Talent Program of the Ministry of Education.
In charge of more than 20 scientific research projects including national science and technology support projects, "973" and "863" projects, key and general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and enterprise cooperation and won four first and second prizes for provincial science and technology progress.
