Applications
The arc/resistance heat melting and suction casting facility is mainly used for preparation of metallic alloys with different compositions, especially for the high entropy alloys and bulk metallic glasses. It is equipped with several electromagnetic stirrers which can make the alloys more homogeneous. It can cast samples with various dimensions and shapes. The resistant heat melting is mainly designed for the preparations of alloys which contain the volatile elements, e.g. Mg, and Mn. The equipment can melt almost all of the metals including tungsten.
